About Us

Wesley & Colleen Crawford

Wesley & Colleen Crawford are a husband and wife team out of Tennessee. Wesley is from Georgia and Colleen is from Michigan. North meets South, falls in love, gets married, and now they travel together to liquidate estates.

Humble Beginnings…

It was “The Credit Crisis of 2008” that launched us into the estate liquidation industry. During the Federal takeover of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, people began loosing their homes to foreclosure on a rapid basis. Someone asked for our help to empty out their house because they had a limited time to move, and they were moving into a very tiny home.

We worked as fast as we could, and considered it to be a whole house yard sale back then.   People showed up each day to buy things until everything was gone.  We didn’t know about the industry term called “estate sale” and that there is a better way to liquidate estates.

The crisis took place in September of 2008, and by October, people had to move. Little did we know that liquidating estates would become a career for us. We ventured to Tennessee in December of 2008, to visit family for Thanksgiving.   It was then that we learned estate liquidation was an actual industry, and there was a proper way of conducting them, and there were, and are, a lot of companies that work in this industry.

Learning the industry…

So, that’s how it’s supposed to be done? It was December of 2008 when we learned how professionals liquidate estates. While visiting in Tennessee, we helped my sister liquidate a home, and then we returned to Georgia.  We got a call asking if we would be interested in moving to Tennessee and working in the industry, so we returned to Tennessee to work as subcontractors for two companies.

Professional career…

We found our niche when we were asked by each of the two companies if we wanted to take on some smaller estates that didn’t fit in the schedule of the other two companies.  We accepted the estates and started our own company.

We have traveled as far away as Maryland to liquidate the contents of homes, but Tennessee is where we call home.  My sister moved her company to Maryland when her husband got transferred with the Navy.  We now refer Maryland estates to my sister, but you may see us in the Maryland area from time to time helping with staging.  We love to stage!

Our humble beginnings have turned into a professional career and we love what we are doing. As you can tell from our galleries, we stage professionally and our processes are streamlined and documented, allowing us to quickly set up an estate and conduct it professionally.

There are many reasons estate liquidation is needed, whether through financial crisis or a death in the family or even downsizing. We treat each client with respect and we will leave your property tidy, clean and ready to turn over to a Realtor if you are putting it on the market.

We’re here to serve to serve you, and if you aren’t able to have an estate sale on site, give us a call and see if there is a solution that’s right for you.   The goal is to end up with an empty and clean home for the market and we’ll do the hard work for you.
